The Academy is being planned for the spring of 2022 to be held in-person (and perhaps live stream) in the City of Astoria, Oregon. More details to follow.
Total Enrollment will be limited to either 50 people or 10-teams.
We are looking for teams of people interested in starting a worker-owned, consumer, producer, or multi-stakeholder cooperative business. Requirements for participating:
At least two people from the team must commit to attending the classroom sessions.
Your team must have a unified business concept.
Each member of your team must complete the application below.
No Cost for people in San Juan County or Islands County or other rural communities (under 50,000 people).
$25 per participant for people living in larger communities*
*Funding for this program comes from the USDA Rural Development program–the nominal urban charge will help up provide assistance between the class sessions for people living outside the grant service area.
